The Terschelling Berenloop will take place in 2023 on Sunday 5 November and it is a beautiful but also tremendously tough marathon.
Participants can run a half or full marathon, 21 or 42 kilometres, and the finish line at the Brandaris must be reached within 5 hours.
What is unique about this marathon is its changing character: it runs on asphalt roads, shell paths and even 3 kilometres on the beach.
Whether you come here as a runner or as a supporter, both will be a great experience

The whole of Terschelling participates in the Berenloop, creating a unique atmosphere that will give you a warm feeling, both as a runner and as a supporter!

The course

The beautiful but tough course, enthusiastic volunteers and encouragement along the way make for a fantastic running spectacle.
The Berenloop marathon Terschelling is experienced as one of the most challenging in the Netherlands.

Terschelling belongs to the Dutch Wadden Islands together with Texel, Vlieland, Ameland and Schiermonnikoog.
Unique in europe : The Wadden. Since 26 June 2009 on the list of UNESCO Werelderfgoed .
